Crops

|
2002:
Varied, but the largest productions in 2000 are banana and mango.
Approximately 42% of the land is devoted to agriculture.
Cagayan
de Oro is the central market of agricultural products from its neighbors.
Recently, a group of organic farmers in Bukidnon has formed an association,
selling their products at Nature's Bounty. The outlet offers organically-grown
rice, vegetables, eggs and other goods.

Livestock

Minerals
and Metals

Sand,
gravel, limestone and feldspar are widely used for agriculture and
industry. Near Indahag are large, exposed limestone bodies. From January
to June 2000, miners unearthed 120 m.t. of phyllite schist and 115,000
cu.m. of sand and gravel.
Clay
in Bulua has spawned several pottery shops. [See also "Soil"
in Geography.]
Iron
boulder deposits -- magnetite and hematite -- are reported in the
vicinities of Barangay Dansolihon. Gold, platinum and iron are also
reported in Tuburan, Pigsag-an and Taglimao. Below are small scale
mines operating from January to June 2000, as reported by the Mines
and Geosciences Bureau:
